What is the average amount of puppies an English Bulldog delivers?

My English Bulldog is about to deliver and when I took her in for an ultrasound i was told that she is only expecting ONE puppy. I was astonished and was wondering what the average amount of puppies bull dogs normally carry.

2. There's no such thing as an English Bulldog, it's just Bulldog. Do you have money set aside for the c-section she will need? So much for trying to use your dog as an ATM.

4. LOL, nature foils another BYB! It doesn't matter WHAT the average litter is, YOUR dog is having one puppy, and a b*tch that has small litters ALWAYS has small litters. Get her spayed when she has her c-section

7. My aunt used to breed them and one of her lines always only had singletons. Luckily she wasn't in it for the money lol! She had as many as 8 in a litter, but usually they were much smaller like 4 or 5.
