  1. 1- Sea horses are SALT WATER animals! There is no such thing as a fresh water sea horse. You obviciously aren'y prepared and knowlagable enough to take care of the fish so give or sell it to some1 who can!
  2. seahorses are saltwater fish and should be in a species only tank. angel fish are tropical fish and goldfish are cold water fish, you cant mix any of these
  3. i agree with jessica...please study before buying animals..there living creatures not ornaments.
  4. you can have seahorses as pets? thats cool.... :)
  5. seahorse are saltwater, angels are fresh or salt depending on the type you are looking for and goldfish are not only freshwater fish they are cold water fish and not compatable with either of the above. It feels like some people go into a store with a blindfold on and just point, I want that, that and that. Not trying to be rude, but really?
  6. None of those fish are compatible. Sea Horses are salt water, while Angels and Goldfish are freshwater. Angelfish will kill Goldfish, and Angels require 80 degree water, and that's much warmer water then I would put any Fancy Goldfish. You need to research before you get any fish. If you do not know the basic concepts of fish keeping, then you shouldn't have fish.
  7. So I don't understand why everybody is having a cow. You haven't bought the fish yet and you are doing exactly the right thing....studying things out before you buy them! Everybody has to start somewhere in learning about fish keeping. Just keep asking questions despite the rudeness of some people and learn and then you will be ready to be a good fish keeper. So to answer your question.......seahorses are saltwater (and extremely hard to take care of)...yes some species of angelfish are freshwater but what all of these seemingly professional fish keepers seem to be forgetting is that there are plenty of saltwater angelfish species too! :) To be honest though I am not sure if them and seahorses are compatible. And then gold fish are cool water fish that won't go well with tropical fish. If I were you for your first tank I would get a 10 gallon or bigger tank and buy some type of freshwater small tetras or barbs for your first tank. They are good hardy fish and come in many different varieties and they will help you get some experience under your belt. Then if you decide you like fish keeping you can go a little deeper and start trying some of the more challenging fish to keep. Good luck and keep studying! PS if I were you I would ditch yahoo answers for your source of learning (look at all the answers above for your reason) and join a popular fish forum for more info and to be able to ask questions with good reliable answers!
  8. Well if you are new to the hobby which I am assuming you are then a seahorse is not an option. A salt water tank really shouldn't be for beginners. Alot of up keep and you have to keep the water pristine. AngelFish you will need 30 gallon tank for. Fan I think is 20 or 30. If you have a tank smaller then those. Your going to have to do some more research. In your list right now you have three different water type fish. Seahorse=Salt, Angel=Tropical and the Goldfish= Cold water. All those you should never mix. Pay attention to the adult size as well. Again really research this from multiple sites, even the library.
  9. To have those three fish you would need three separate tanks. Seahorses need a saltwater tank and don't usually do well with other non-seahorse fish. They can be especially difficult to keep. Freshwater Angelfish are tropical fish, need freshwater, and a heated tank. Goldfish are freshwater, coldwater fish. There is no way to try to keep all three in the same tank. The temp for the angel and the seahorse match, but one is freshwater one is saltwater. The angel and goldfish both are freshwater, but have different temperature requirements. If you are a beginner, ignore seahorses for now.
