Good websites for kids interested in endangered animals?

I'm looking for websites that would interest young elementary kids who want to help endangered species. They also want to try to start a kids club on the subject. Thanks for your help in advance.

1. National Geographic, Discovery, animal planet... And the polar bears aren't endangered... unless a five fold increase in the past 5 decades is a reason to be endangered....

3. This subject is commendable for you and your students If I may make a suggestion, introduce the link below in addition with other websites. Protecting and managing endangered species is all about science, make sure your kids are getting a dose of science along with their sense of stewardship and accomplishment. All too often, not just with kids, science is lost when gazing into the eyes of something soft and fuzzy. Try to get them thinking! Even though they are still young, this may help them get into the habit of ignoring websites with ".nets" and ".orgs" when searching for facts. Many environmental groups are just as guilty as oil and cigarette company's when it comes to using misleading/false information when trying to make their point.
