What is the best d5000 Nikon lens for taking pictures of small animals in my house.?

I am taking portraits of small animals in my house and using my d5000 with the 18-55 lens, I want a better lens , and some advice on which one to get. I also want to take better wildlife shots and I have the 200mm that came with it, I cant zoom in the way I would like, which is a good lens to cover that?

1. For small animals and nature Nikkor Micro105mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S. If you want a more powerful long lens try this Nikkor 200-400mm f/4 G-AFS. It's really best if you spend some time learning the different lenses and deciding how they will fit with what you want to do. I can't really help, I don't know what you consider a small animal.
