what is the life expectancy of arabian horses?
I have a 26 year old healthy Arabian gelding. How long do they usually live?

- Anywhere from 25 to 35 years.
- I have heard of many living well into the late twenties or early thirties. As long as your horse is healthy, sound, and in relatively good shape, he should live for a while.
- My mom bought her first arabian when he was 17 years old. Even when he was in his twenties.. 23-26 years old he could still beat any 5 year old quarter horse. He would have lived well into his 30's but sadly he was kicked my a gelding with shoes, and had to be put down. But your horse sounds healthy, wil still have healthy time with him (:
- its the same as any other breed. anywhere from 25-35 years old. some even live longer!
- i have an arabian right now he just turned 20 in feb. arabians are going to live about 20-35 years or even longer if there healthy enough. my horse is like so lazy that he trips over his own feet! :P lol! well hope you and your perfect arabian live a great life together. remember....... OLD GUYS RULE!!!!
