Where can I donate my old stuffed animals?

I have several stuffed animals from childhood that are in great shape still. I know I could easily donate them to Goodwill but, I would prefer to donate to a place where people won't have to buy it. Just need a few suggestions as to where I can take them to. Thanks!

1. Majority of organizations will not accept stuffed toys. They cannot be sanitized, stuffing is of unknown material and they harbor dust mites.
2. Well it would be best to donate them to a thrift store or goodwill But you can also donate them to a shelter where people won't have to buy them. Find a shelter and donate them there.
3. Maybe you should help the children at the local homeless shelter...they often leave the home without the toys and comforts that they want. Your gift would mean a lot to them. Hope this helps.

5. Donate them to a battered women's shelter. The women arrive there with kids, and usually have to leave home on a moment's notice, so they don't have time to take stuff. And the kids REALLY need a friend at a time like that.
6. What use is stuffed animals? i like to put dynamite and firecrackers in them and watch them blow up! its more entertaining
