Puppy cross breed qestion?
Ok my puppy is a cross from a Labrador to a Irish wolf hound. It looks like a Labrador more than a wolf hold. Im thinking, how would this change the puppy. Behaviour and appearance. Thanks for all answers. Everyone is welcome to answer this

- No way to say. Mutts are unpredictable. It will have some lab traits, some wolf hound traits, and then if its not socialized and trained properly it may have neither. There is no accurate way of saying. Mutts are unpredictable, end of.
- Change your puppy? The die is cast already. With any cross breed it's a total lottery as to which set of genes the individual puppy has taken from his parents. You won't know about coat, size, health, temperament, longevity, for sure. There are differences between siblings in a purebred litter - it's even more so with a puppy who has two parents from different breeds. I'd say the only given in this puppy is he'll be large.
- Its one of them deals that you never know what your going to get. When you have a mix breed puppy (mutt) you can get either trait. He could look like a lab now and have some of the characteristics of a Irish Wolf.. you never really know =)
- Like Panthera onca (if spelt right) said there is no easy way to tell. The pup will have traits from both parents both mentally and physically. E.G. It could have the body of a Labrador and an irish wolfhounds fur or vice verse. Either way your pup will need some good training. I guess only time will tell. Have you done research on both breeds?
