Bengal cats?
i have a friend who wants a Bengal cat... how easy/hard are they to find (breeders/carriers) and how much could she expect to pay for one? Female or male. Any tips you can tell me for owning one?

- Pet quality - $650 - $1,250. Show quality - $2,000 - $5,000+ Please tell your friend to RESEARCH the breed before getting one. They're very hyperactive cats and not for everyone. She should get one because she's learned all she can about the breed and thinks it's the cat for her NOT because she thinks it'd be "cool" to have one or that others would be impressed that she has one.
- Bengals are great! I have one.. The only thing about bengals is that they are like having a 3 year old that never grows up and has ADHD.. And is also like a dog in a way... So if your friend thinks they can handle a wild, crazy, funny, playful, very smart cat then they should get one. My bengal, Olly loves water... Opens doors... Turns on and off the lights... plays fetch.... (I could go on for days about my cat....) Here is a great bengal forum that will help you and your friend with any questions you might have..... http://www.bengalcatforums.com/forums/ It depends on what kind of bengal they wants..show? pet? breeder? pet could run for 500-up show and breeder could run from 1500-up Yes, punk_rawk_grrl is right your friend should do A LOT of research on the breed just like any other cat or pet. The link I gave will help in that. Yes, they are very hyperactive cats and not for everyone... But, just because they are not for everyone doesn't mean they are not great cats. Like I said before They are like 3 year olds. They want to be with you and want to do everything your doing..
- Mine are fine they are 5th generation not to hyperactive. around 500 each
