  1. all depends on the animal it's self my dog does not a bit of rain but hates heavy rain and thunder even more
  2. Most animals do, at a young age in there life span. As they grow older it really depends on them theirselves. My dog is no longer scared of them she used to be terrified though.
  3. yes I think alot of dogs and cats are scared particularly by the noise of the thunder, but not all. Ive had a couple of dogs who are terrified of thunder storms but neither have been scared of loud rain, as far as im aware its not very common for them to be scared of rain.
  4. It depends how you raise them. Once a dog starts showing fear to loud noises you can start them on desensitizing therapy, or let them get worse and worse and have a horrible time during storms. If there is a loud clap of thunder it will startle my animals. None of them act crazy, howl, hide, or anything like that during storms though.
  5. My cats don't hide during rain storms. One of my cats will hide during thunder storms but the others don't seem to care.
  6. depends on the animal. my daughters dalmation mix is scared to death and my papillon will sleep right through them.
