Endangered animals?

I'm a very big animal lover, and it absolutely breaks my heart to see animals in shelters feeling unloved and unwanted, or animals dying out because of poachers, hunters, loss of habitat, ect. I'm thinking about adopting an animal, you know, kind of the way that you can adopt a child in under-developing countries. I'm only thirteen and I don't make all that much money but I'm a true believer that every little thing can make a difference. I've already got a polar bear and a penguin [their habitats are being destroyed due to global warming, us stupid people!]. Does anyone know what the most endangered animal in the world is? I think it could be either a giant panda, one of those white tigers [Siberian, are they?] or a whale, maybe that really big one? Is it a blue whale? Cheeze whiz, I can't get my mind made up! What is the most endangered animal, what is making it endangered and in what country or ocean does it reside? Thank you everyone who answers! Much appreciated.

  1. The United States has a list of endangered species, but nobody knows which one is the 'most endangered' that one you'll have to choose for yourself. A white tiger isn't a Siberian tiger. Remember on Ice Age, Diego? Yeah, he was a Siberian tiger. A white tiger is just an albino version of the normal tiger. Congrats on being an animal lover, I feel your pain. Go down to the local humane shelter and help them out, a volunteer type of gal. A lot of humane shelters allow volunteers from all over to help, so if it's close and easy for you to get to then go ahead and get into it. I highly recommend it, I did it myself for awhile until both the shelter and I moved. It'll really give you a grasp on taking care of animals and whatnot.
  2. Also endangered: the California Condor and the Silverback Mountain Gorilla. Sea turtles too, they're under attack. Search for them online, there are millions of sources for you to feast your animal-loving eyes on.
