What should I call the book i'm writing? Please give suggestions!?
Ok, the book I am writing is about a girl named Beverly Wilson. She is 13 years old and lives in Germany and the book takes place during world war 2. In the beginning she is really miserable and she a vision. In the vision she see's a wild white stallion (horse) in the forest and it says that the tie will come and that they will meet again. Eventually she can't even trust her best friend, Robyn, anymore and she is still really miserable. Eventually she actually finds the wild white horse and she befriends it and learns to ride it. She is super happy because the horse brought her life back to her she explains. The ending is then really sad though because she gets news that her dad, who she was really close to, dies in the war. She becomes furious and runs down to their animal barn, which is also where she keeps the horse a secret. Still mad and upset she kicks a hay bale up against the heater which lights the barn afire. When she is trying to get all the animals out the horse notices that the roof is about to collapse and pushes her out of the way and it collapses on him instead. Of course the horse dies so basically the two most important things in her life are gone. There is also a Blue Jays feather which she gives the horse and it kind of symbolizes forgiveness and love. It comes into the book a lot actually. I kind of pictured the cover as the feather floating in the bottom right-hand corner surrounded by a foggy field and forest. VERY foggy. Sorry this was so long, so any suggestions?

- Holy crow! Your book sounds so freaking good I'm not even joking. When I was reading the dialogue I thought of the title "Stallion Endearment". my email is "sethmarkova@yahoo.com" if you want to hook me up with like a chapter or something.
- I think blue jays are one of the most beautiful birds there are. They have such pretty feathers. But I think, in order to use the feather as a symbol in the story (which sounds great) is to either have the bird a more prominent creature in the story or else to have the horse have the name of "feather" or "jay" in it. Otherwise, the reader will not catch the symbolism of the story. Maybe a blue jay seems to alight upon a tree branch whenever something important happens in the story? Or the main character sees the bird several times and each times, it seems to tell her that something is going to happen (good or bad, but probably bad). A title for a story can be difficult. Your editor will probably want to change it anyway. But it should be a haunting type of title. Something maybe like " Myrhia"? I believe a song was sung once, saying "they call the wind, Myrhia?" Don't know if I spelled it right. It is pronounced like " ma-ry-ha"". You need to work the blue jay into the story to intermingle it's importance with that of the brave, loyal horse. Good luck. You can do this.
- forever blue? blue fog?
