Breyer horses....?
I have a set of three famous racehorses from the 1970's that I am considering putting on EBay. Kelso, Swaps, and (I think) Man 'O War....any thoughts on how well they might go? What should I ask as a minimum bid? I do not have the box, and they are in good condition.

- Check eBay first. Others are probably buying and selling them too. Take a good look at their prices. That will give you an idea where to start and maybe what to expect.
- Check out this site for approximate values (if you want to explore further, there is a link for "home" at the bottom of each page). http://www.ponylagoon.info/molds/ckelso.shtml http://www.ponylagoon.info/molds/cswaps.shtml http://www.ponylagoon.info/molds/cmanowar.shtml When I list on auction sites I always start my bids at 99 cents and let people bid what they think is fair. Of course if you wanted a certain dollar amount then you could specify a reserve - if your reserve is met then the reserve fee is refunded. I just wouldn't set a reserve that is too high or you'll never sell. I've also seen people put in their listings the reserve amount - which may be a benefit in a situation like this where you don't want someone thinking you are charging $90 for a $5 item (as an example).
- I would have a look to see if there are any of the same models on ebay, then start it at something like £4.50, so it isnt so low that it looks as if they arnt in very good condition, but high enough so it would rise quickly to a good sum of money if 2 or 3 people wanted it.
