How do wild animals such as elephants get their embelical chords cut?
you know a human gets it cut by a doctor or the father..but out in the wild there are no scissors or any humans so what happens??

- The mother chews through the umbilical cord. What is still attached to the mother is expelled with the placenta in what called the afterbirth. Since the part still attached to the newborn is cut off from the mother's blood supply, it shrivels up and falls off.
