How often does a Favourite greyhound win a race?

if you where to go to a greyhound race and bet only on the favourites how often would you expect the dog to win? Is there a statisic simular to that of horses in wich the favourite wins a third of races.

1. Greyhound favourites win between 20-25% of the time - it's less than horse racing, mainly because dog-racing is, on the whole, based almost entirely on luck, or at least, he who is in first place at the first bend!
