miniature horses?

Can Miniature horses swim? just something that popped into my head and didn't really know and hoped you guys and gals could enlighten me. thanks.

1. Definitely. All horses can swim in fact, but some are better at it than others. For example, every year ponies on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands swim a quarter mile to the main land. And some of these horses were foals (baby horses)!
2. Most animals can swim if put into that situation. In my home town, there used to be riding stables that took people for hacks on the beach. About 40 years ago, they were out riding and the fog came down and they got cut off by the sea. All the horses and ponies drowned in the current including the riders except for one Shetland that made it back.
3. Oh yea! They might be little, but that doesn't get in there way. Thier name says it all. All they are are small horses.

6. Not all horses can swim, same as not all people can, a friend of mines horse was more like a submarine, really quite scary, my suggestion would be if you wanted to try, make sure there is no current and it gradually gets deeper, and keep a good eye on the pony
