  1. Last year's Breeder's Cup @ Santa Anita.
  2. The epic battle between Ouija Board and Alexander Goldrun in the 2006 Nassau Stakes at Goodwood. Head to head and eyeball to eyeball coming up the straight Ouija Board fought back to get her nose in front when it mattered...the bravest and most geniune mare Ed Dunlop will ever have had the priviledge to have trained..Jac x Edit: She's just had her 2nd foal...a colt by Monsun born 16th February 2009..watch out for him in 2011. Thanks for the clip Across the Sea...I couldn't find it on You Tube..what a race she ran & then went on to win the Filly & Mare Turf at Churchill Down..will we ever see her like again...x
  3. BIG BROWN LOSING THE TRIPLE CROWN, I WAS AT BELMONT,PEOPLE ROARING IN DISBELIEF.
  4. Well I am in the US, and just can't point out one. I was at Belmont when Rags To Riches won this race being only the third filly in history to do so. Gutsy Afleet Alex's run in the Preakness was certainly one to remember. Secretariat's spectacular Triple Crown. Spectacular Bid's quest for the crown. Man O War's brilliant career. There are several others also, but just too many to list. I guess that is why Bloodhorse has a list of the top one hundred race horses of the twentieth century. I see my troll is following me again. How very inmature.
  5. Arazi - Breeders' Cup Juvenile 1991 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SMQUzR7H_A An amazing race.
  6. My first Arc in 1986 - Dancing Brave! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCucJx2vL-k
  7. When Michael Dickinson had the first 5 home in the Cheltenham Gold Cup what an achievement never been done since.
  8. The first one I ever went to! I was around 13, and went with my Uncle to Chepstow. I could not get over how big they were, how much noise they made as they went past at racing speed, and how easy it was to make £14ish. Paid for it since, and although it doesn't directly answer your question, I have taken other "Novices" to the Races on a few occasions, and they say the same thing.
