I can't remember what this movie is called... Someone help me please!?

I just watched Disney's Snow Dogs last night because I thought it was the movie I was thinking of, and it wasn't, I was just reminded how BAD Snow Dogs was... >.> Anyway, so the movie is a dog sledding movie, probably a family genre, I'm pretty sure it's rated PG... Anyway, so in the movie some guy decides to dog sled this whole team and there is an older gray female lead husky and in the end of the movie she gets hurt or disappears or something and so they go on without her, but at the end she shows up and it's like OMG MOMENT! It was a good movie though and I CANNOT remember the name of it! There was also a black husky in it, I think his name was Jack (but I could be wrong) and he was younger but in the end he becomes the lead dog because the gray female lead is hurt when they take her back. I think the gray female lead might be named Maya or something like that, but I don't remember for sure... Anyway, that is the main thing I remember about the movie, and I really want to see it, so if anyone has any ideas or thinks they know what it is (even better), please comment! It is bugging me SO bad! XD
