what are the import polices against wild animals in India?

I am a wild life lover, I always wanted to have wild animals as pets (herbivorous). I am having a vision of setting up my own sanctuary with full of herbivorous animals in it. For this reason I also wanted to import a couple of red kangaroos from Australia. But I am not sure on what are the import polices against wild animals in India. If any of you have any experience in doing so plz give me some information on it. If you have anything which might help fulfilling my vision, feel free to share with me.
