Cross Breeds

Does anyone know where i can find statistics and information on the horses racing in tomorrow's Melbourne Cup?

In my experience the favorites never win, except for the year makybe diva won. So this time i want to do a bit of research and hopefully score some easy money. So if you know where i can get some info that would be great. =) Who are your picks to win the big race?

  1. Some good information here if you know what to look for http://www.racenet.com.au/breeding/form/Flemington_2009-11-03_7t.asp I'm going for Master O'Reilly.
  2. Here is some interesting stats - http://www.tabonline.com.au/cgi-bin/main.pl?page=/today.htm Things such as successful numbers and ages, and even recent dividends. In the 148 cup winners only 33 have been favourites. There are also these sites - http://www.trackdata.com.au/Data/RaceAnalysis/VMMELC.mht http://www.racenet.com.au/g1races/Melbourne-Cup-2009.asp Hope this helps. Bart well im leaning towards Roman Emperor.
  3. Here's two more http://www.way2bet.com.au/form-guides http://formguide.cyberhorse.com.au/ Good Luck
  4. http://www.melbournecupreport.com Check out their Cup Q & A I'm going to back anything trained by J B Cummings - there are three this year, Viewed, Roman Emperor & Allez Wonder :)
  5. Changing of the Guard and his sore foot.
  6. I'm banking on MUNSEF trained by Ian Williams in the UK to run a great race. I managed to get 33/1 on him , each way, last night. He's been in great heart here at home in the UK and ran a gallant 2nd in a Group race in Sweden last time out, so he shouldn't be understimated. It's midnight here in UK now and I believe Tuesdays Melbourne Cup is off around 04.00am our time. Enjoy the race.....Jac x
