Why do dogs love the snow so much? My little Yorkie Blossom hates the cold and rain but wants to stay out in?

2. Aww, dogs are so cute playing in the snow! Probably for the same reason people do, it's fun!
3. It has to be the play factor. I have an 80 lb. Goldendoodle. She is the exact same way. When the snow is up to her rump (and that's a lot of snow to be up to her rather rotund rear end) she will stay outside for hours dashing back and forth and diving into piles of snow. She'll roll in it and chase snowflakes. I know she gets cold because when she finally comes back in she'll flop down in front of the fireplace and sleep for a couple of hours but as soon as she's up, she's right back at the back door whining to go out again. It's funny isn't it?
4. Good question my Fox terrier is allergic to rain and cold wont even come outside with me if its raining but let him loose in snow and he just loves it, now this doubly strange given that he was born and bred in QLD Australia and didnt see snow until he was ten years old and emigrated with me to NZ, strange that
