How are endangered animals bieng saved?

or what is bieng done to save endangered animals. Im doing a report, so it would be helpful if you could give me websties too. =]

1. You're going to need to narrow it down a bit to get a decent answer, endangered animals are being saved on a species specific basis. You could likely do a much better report though if you focused it down to a species though so you could encompass all the approaches to saving that animal, for example in my area they have introduced "fish ladders" to dams to allow sturgeon to swim upstream beyond the dams to reach their traditional breeding ground. Anyway, to answer your question. Broadly speaking Habitat Conservation Controlled breeding programs followed by wild reintroduction Education and Awareness raising (documentaries/zoos) Chemical Pollution Control Research Epidemiology (tracking/slowing/stopping epidemic viral/bacterial/fungal diseases) Anti-Poaching laws and hunting restrictions
