can dogs get frost bite on their .....?
My dog was gone for about 2-3 days in that time we got about 2 feet of snow and my dog came back and (sorry for being so upfront but...) his testicles are a little redish purple-ish i guess would be the color. and im just wondering if Dogs could get frostbite there, i mean i dont see why they wouldnt be able to but im just courious. They dont seem to be bothering him because hes not excessively licking or scratching them.. Please dont flag this because i really need to know!!.

- it is possible for a dog to get frost bite on any part of their body. If you are concerned, call you Vet He may have mated with other dogs during that time too so that could be a reason for the change in color.
- Anything is possible. If you are so concerned why don't you speak to your Vet.
- you should go to the vet to make sure your dog isn't hurt or has a frost bite.
- You should take your dog to vet now. If your dog were gone for like a day or 2 in any of weathers, always take him to the vet, anything could have happened to him like car accidents or got into a fight by another dogs without showing signs of illness Vet is only a place who can help to cure
- If your concern about your dog- CALL the vets office and explain what the problem is. The vet will direct you on what to do.
- dogs can get frostbite on any area of the body. If you suspect frostbite, then you need to take the dog to a vet for treatment.. left untreated, the area will die and become infected.. a bad infection could kill your dog.
