  1. You asked the same question a bit ago. Now, with more detail I can tell you this is normal and if they lay together, you have no worries.
  2. Yes, that's normal behavior for puppies. No need to worry but the fighting should stop after some time (when they're 6 months old). If you want to get more information about it, there are lots of good ebooks and blogs on the internet out there.
  3. the puppy is is interested in playing with the cat but the cat is just not interested in playing but when the puppy is tired he and the cat will get along. It is normal its a puppy who is still growing so its very common
  4. I too have a german shepherd x who is 16 weeks old, and have five cats aged between 12 weeks and 5 years...the dog will chase the kittens, try to bite them, play with them etc, and will also sleep with them snuggled up together. But my pup will stay clear of the adult cats as she knows they will not tolerate her behaviour. Basically, you have to supervise the play, and if the dog starts growling, showing signs of aggression etc, you must intervene. But if the cat is 8-10 months old, it should be old enough to defend itself and swipe at the puppy if he becomes too boisterous. When the puppy plays, he should display signs of being happy...wagging the tail, crouching down on front paws with back end up (called the play bow), even barking at the cat...all signs of playfulness. However, if the dog bares his teeth, growls, stomps his tail on the ground or has tail up straight in the air, then he may not have playing on his mind...having said that, it is highly unusual that a pup that young would have aggressive tendencies. So relax, supervise and enjoy the playing!!!!
