  1. Because your dog is a mix of those two breeds(very weird mix infact) & has no written breed standard because it is not a Pedigree, you won't be able to find any accurate information about them or even pictures of DDB x Alaskan Malamute mixes that easily. It's definitely a very very rare mix & I bet it was a result of an accidental mating caused by an irresponsible owner or breeder. ADD: Actually, it IS possible. For example, your friend's DDB & Malamute mated & had puppies successfully! And you're owning one of the pups right now. Any breed of dog can mate with another breed because they're all dogs whatever it is. It is also possible for a bigger dog to mate with a smaller dog but it's dangerous. Often, the b*tch dies because it cannot carry a larger dog's pups. A responsible & very careful owner will make sure no accidental matings will ever happen. Infact, if your friend was a responsible owner, she would have gotten her b*tch spayed the moment she knew she was pregnant.
  2. You can't. Cross breed are just that. They are typically done by what is called backyard breeders which is someone who should not be breeding digs. You can always find pictures of a pure bread dog. So look them both up online and your dog will look like a mix of that. I have a border collie/golden retriever mix and he looks just like both of them mixed together. I am familiar with both dogs. I am curious if he will end up with the short coat or long coat.
  3. Bordeaux dogs are very, very uncommon, weren't they just, these last few years recognized? how in the world did you ever manage to get a mixed pup? i would have thought that the female would have been double kenneled! i seriously doubt that, that cross was ever allowed to photographed. the breed is just to small to allow any mistakes yet. that is kinda like admitting you just made a most terrible mistake. not that i am doubting but are you absolutely positive that it is a Bordeaux? like the kind of positive that you were fortunate enough to watch the birthing? the kind of positive you watch the pups play with mom daily? man on man how lucky are you.
  4. I cant help you but for everyone that jumps on anyone for an accidental mating needs to get all the facts first. Yes some are the cause of VERY irresponsible owners but some are purely accidental despite the owners best efforts to prevent it and everyone makes mistakes right?
