Is it possible to successfully bring extinct animals back to life using DNA?

I read the Pyrenean ibex had been cloned, but died shortly after birth.

1. as of now it had not been successful or else there would be no such thing are extinct animals ...they will be cloned and have many health problems and do not live long ..this is true even for dolly the cloned sheep( the average life span for a sheep is 11-12 years, dolly lived six and had lung disease and severe arthritis)....but i do think it will be possible in the future since the Pyrenean ibex was cloned but not successful.... also look and see why it was not successful and see if they could make any changes
