  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dancing_Brave I had never heard of him. He does have Northern Dancer in there, but that is all I see. I would guess that selling your horse as a grand daughter of him won't do a whole lot for her
  2. Dancing brave was one of the greatest horses that never one the Derby because the pra** who rode it got bulked in and brought it for its run too late It went on to win the prix l'arc de triomphe one of my favourite gee gees of all time fast as hell
  3. one of your other answers is just about right.Dancing Brave was the best 1 1/4to 1 1/2 mile horse in training at that time.He was so unlucky or so badly ridden or misjudged pace and timing by the jockey {one of the Edderys} I shall not mention which one.but depending on your horses sire and dam and what they have done in racing,it is more tha likely your horse is not worth much.I have owned horses whos sires were EG.Henbit who won derby.Commanche run who won ST Leger, and to name a few more Mill reef, Warpath,Buckskin,Spartan General ,and a lot more.but in general my horses were not of the caliber or class and ability of their sires.I am an ex jump jockey reasonably succesfull but have owned and in more recent years trained many well bred horses. Some are good ,some are Uselessnothing like their parents no matter who trains them. B the way DANCING BRAVE was trained by Guy Harwood At pullborough { the best gallops in europe,I have ridden on them many many times] his daughter Amanda trains there now married to ex jump jock.
