How the hell do you guys own horses?

I think people in this section are FAKE. How can anyone own a horse? I never seen or know anyone in real life who owns a horse. Like c'mon now, we all know little girls want a horse as their dream but it's impossible to have a horse as a pet. FYI: They don't sell animals bigger than a dog at my local petstore. Ok I meant having a horse in the city. Trust me, that can't happen.

People like you trying to get a reaction from people always make me laugh. Question though...if your local pet stores doesn't sell animals bigger than a dog, then do they sell chickens? I am quite positive they are smaller than a dog :P (couldn't resist). When you live in the city/urban areas, the chances of you not knowing a horse person is pretty high. It's not impossible to have a horse as a pet - many people do if their horse is too small or old for them to do much with. Others don't have them just as pets - we like to ride/train and compete with them. ETA: you're right you can't have a horse in urban areas - where I live I believe you need to have at least 5 acres of land in order to have a horse legally living on your property. Anyone who does live in urban areas and has a horse will board it at a barn.
Where I come from - it's impossible to look any direction without seeing a horse. Though, I'm not going to argue this case any further because surely this is just a bit of a piss take. And if it isn't, then there's still no point arguing it further because there's an idiot on the site.
well for your information i own a horse and it is hard work and expensive and it is hard too find people with horses and if you want to buy a horse go to horsesforsale online da i own three tex john and charger and go to horse shows people too own horse ALOT ALOT

Haha very funny. These pathetic attempts to make us in the horse section mad. If you've never seen someone own a horse, you have never stepped outside. Also, its obvious you buy horses from breeders or other owners, not the pet store. Therefore, its not even possible to be as stupid as you are acting. So go bother people in some other section.
Because we go to farms or stables to purchase them. We also keep them there. I honestly think your opinion's fake. I've seen no proof of it being true, so that must mean it doesn't exist. =)
You don't get horses from a petstore, my nan had horses, now me and my mum have 3, its not impossible. You just need to know how to look after them and have the money to look after them.

We go to special horse shops to buy them. We do this specifically to puzzle you. There is no other reason why we have horses, we do it only to make you question every inch of your reality.
I own a horse and my yahoo picture shows him and he's almost totally blind, but he's still my horse and I love him. My grandmother owns two horses and my two Aunts that live rite beside us own horses. People that lives all around me and in town own horse not all of them, but quiet a few. Some people on here might be fake and some aren't (I'm not), but that's for them to know not you or me or any body else. Their dreaming of whats it's like to have a horse and other things and that's fine. And you don't get a horse at a local pet store you buy them off individuals. Go to google.......it will explain. You don't buy horses at a pet store. In my town there is 3 stables that I know of and many farms with horses. A lot of my friends from school own horses as well. I have two horses and I'm 16. I've owned them since I was in the 7th grade.

You dont get horses from a petstore, smart one. Many people own horses, and they are usually not little girls, but people who ride or own a farm or love horses.
Thats funny, I could have sworn that I owned 3 different ponies. I distinctly remember paying for each one and carrying out all stable duties. Nobody else rode them unless I invited them to and I cared for them in every way, rode them at pony club and shows. So yeah, I think I did own them.
haha hello, we don't buy horses, we lasso them up from the wilderness and corral them into our suburban backyards. EDIT: horse in the city - we lasso them up from the wilderness and corral them into the suburbs, into a helicopter, and fly them onto the roofs of buildings, keeping them there.
how are we fake? people can ride,lease,own,know people who have a horse.... well duh they don't sell them at local pet stores they need hay,water, a stall ,pasture , and need to be exercised everyday FYI i ride every Saturday , i know people who own and lease a HORSE , and there is a little thing called the internet
well actually we have a board at our local pet stores for animals for adoption and i see horses posted on there all the time. so they kind of do. lol

It's called aboption, my local animal shelter has horses up for aboption, and its not that hard to buy a barn and put up a fence!!!

i live in a suburban area and my family has TWO horses. We aggist them somewhere. Course you dont buy them at a petstore, you buy them at auctions, or from the internet and stuff. My family has our horses living like 30 mins away but we go there every day.
