My dogs nail broke!!!!!!!!!!!?

My dogs 2 nails broke! It broke a bit in the pink part and its bleeding,we tried cutting the nail but its attached to the skin still!We cant take him to the vet roades are blocked wit snow.

1. DO NOT try to cut it off it can get an infection just try to put guaze around it and if that doesn't work then just leave him/her alone so that they can lick it clean if your dog pulls the guaze off you have 2 choices one let your dog lick it clean or two everytime you see your dog chewing or pulling at the guaze put lemon on his nose or lips
2. Leave it be, wait for a vet to become available. Dogs nails are not like human nails, the closer to the skin the more blood vessels there are, you will cause your dog considerable pain if you try to remove the nail without knowing the best way. Try to prevent your dog chewing at its nail, but allow them to lick it if they want. Your main concern is keeping your dog indoors and relatively inactive until the nail can be removed safely.
3. Dont cut it! Put some baking flour on it, it should stop the bleeding. dont bother the claws untill you can see the vet.
4. Get your dog to the vet. Get someone with a truck!
5. stick his paw in a bowl of flour or corn starch to promote clotting.. dogs bleed badly and can even bleed to death when the nail quick is cut. IF you dont have corn starch or flour use a bar of white soap.
