  1. Aggression is a natural and necessary trait for horses. It has enabled them over many generations to protect themselves from predators and to defend their offspring (mares) or harems (stallions). While horses are not generally a territorial species, protection of food and other valued items does occur in domestic horses and resource guarding can be a common cause of aggression between captive herd members. http://petshrink.com/articles/Aggression%20in%20Horses.html
  2. Horses are big powerful animals, they have hooves that they can kick with (zebras have been known to break a lion's jaw) they are also fast runners with a lot of stamina.
  3. Arabian horses are a breed of domestic horse. They don't exist in the wild, and therefore have no predators. Their shelter is provided by humans, and they come in many colours, since we have selectively bred them that way and there is no disadvantage to any colour when all your needs are provided for by people.
