Is it me, or do Bengal cats make noises while they eat?

When I was a kid, my babysitter had one and she named Snarf because every time he ate he made this snarfing noise. Fast forward to today, I have a Bengal who meows as he eats and it is hilarious. Is this normal?

1. Cats learn these mechanism as kittens when trying to ward off littermates at the food dish. Cute habit. I have a cat who, as a kitten. rocked her head side to side. She grew out of it and only exhibits this habit when she is given something that is really yummy.
2. I so want a Bengal. I told my husband my next cat will be a Bengal they are so Pretty but so EXPENSIVE! lol
3. I have had cats all my life, and most of them would make noises when fed their favorite treat. I think it cute when my newest kitty is purring and meowing at the same time while eating her favorite treats. She is an Egyption Mau Mix. Always add mix to any breed if you do not have pappers.
4. My one Ocicat eats so fast he makes sucking/slurping noises we he eats canned food.
