whats the easiest way to win money when your betting at dog racing?

  1. The "easiest" way would be to take every dollar you had and slap it down on the favorite horse in the first race you see. Then just pray your dog ate his Alpo that day! Dog racing and horse racing both are VERY difficult games to beat. That's because the tracks have a 20% take right off the top of all wagers! In other words, for every $100 that's bet, only $80 goes into the "prize pool". That's a BIG take! It's very difficult to overcome 20% in the long run. To put it into perspective, the worst casino games you can play have perhaps a 10 to 15% house edge over the player. Dogs & Horse = 20%! I know horses a bit, and I know it's a VERY small percentage of people that can make a long-term profit. These folks study like crazy, AND they usually have an inside edge on information nobody else has. I do NOT know much about dog racing, but I would imagine that it's a little bit similar. It actually would seem to me even more random and even harder to study. So...if you're looking for "easy", just slap it all down on the favorite and pray away! You'll either be a hero, or you'll be broke. If you're looking for easy money - there's no such thing. Work hard. Stay in school if you can. If you gamble, you will lose.
  2. Dear Jack, You must to talk to the dogs. The dogs have it all worked out before hand. They give each other turns to win cuz they know that if any particular dog loses consistently its off to the cat food factory for him. Good Luck, Jake
  3. Study the form. For example, I tend to look out for a dog that has consistently been running at a higher grade of race and has dropped down a level. You'll find some good advice on the subject here: http://betting.betfair.com/greyhound-racing/
  4. Bet a dog
