Did the owner of 'She Sells Sea Shells' accomplish his/her mission?

At a trotting meeting in NZ on Friday night, 'She Sells Sea Shells' won a race at Addington, and the judge, as he tried to read out her name, proved why it is indeed the first few words of a famous tongue twister as he made a complete mess of it. Wouldn't you hate to be a commentator of a race with a horse named 'She Sells Sea Shells'?

Public Comments

  1. Shelly Sells Sea Shell By The Sea Shore. I heard Shelly's business went quite well. She accomplished her mission and bought a new bike.
  2. Of course.
  3. That name was used in the US also as commented on at the end of this funny video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwhcS1VPccA&feature=player_embedded# The announcer is Tom Durkin (New York) who likes to have fun with names
  4. He could have just shortened it to Sea Shells I guess. Remember 'Wikickamoocow'? Sorry if the spelling is wrong but as it was a NZ horse you probably know it. That name gave commentators a headache at times.
  5. What were the owner's thinking but then again it is a horse, but then there are others I have heard with worse off names.... Like Fast Freddy Friday... the ironic thing with Fast Fredy Friday was that he never even won a race.
