  1. if they are female they must wear a burka lmao
  2. Most people do not select a bridle based on a breed. The bridle itself can do different things, and is tailored to a horse's needs. A horse with a soft mouth will need a different bridle than one with a hard mouth, some more difficult problems like head tossing, biting at the bit, etc., take different kinds of bridles. Not all arabian horses have raised heads.
  3. Just get it fit for one, measure its mouth and then you will know what size it needs, but if it has a soft mouth then you need a bit thats not harsh on it.
  4. I think you will find their heads are actually 'dished' not raised... I have known many arabians who wore 'regular' sized bridles.
  5. no, they dont. my arabian wears a reagualr sized bridle. it fits him good.
  6. well i have an arabian horse and i use a regular bridle. People use different saddles for arabians so the answer would be a yes and a no . it just depends on the size of your horses head. Plz pick as best answer!!:)) .
  7. Arabians don't bneed special tack. My arabian wears the same tack my fat quarter horse used to wear. I just needed to adjust the bridle and fit the bridle. Nothing special.
  8. Many Arabs may need a cob sized bridle - as opposed to full size - because they have smaller heads, but the fact that they carry their head and neck higher than a stock breed will not change the type of bridle they wear. As always, the type of bridle depends on what discipline you are riding.
  9. Some one should tell Pmiller that whether they have soft or hard mouths has nothing to do with the bridle, but the bit may have some bearings on that. To answer your question Bridles come in all different sizes with different adjustments and since the arabian has a smaller muzzle and thinner head it will need a bridle made for the Arabian horse and not one made for a Quarter horse or Thoroughbred.
