- Sh-sh-sh-shelter!
- http://www.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?pet.Animal=Dog&pet.Breed=German+Shepherd&pet.Age=baby&pet.Size=&pet.Sex=&location=Pittsburgh%2C+PA http://www.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?pet.Animal=Dog&pet.Breed=German+Shepherd&pet.Age=young&pet.Size=&pet.Sex=&location=Pittsburgh%2C+PA Hope this helps...also check your local shelter/animal control. I live in CA and there are always at least 10 or more GSD pups.
- http://www.akc.org/breederinfo/breeder_search.cfm?requestTimeout=90 This is a list of the local GSD club officers. Contact the ones in your area and tell them that you are looking for a pup.
- Do you know what line you're interested in? Do you have a limit of how much you're willing to pay? Do you know what you're going to do with the dog? (Schutzhund, Agility, Pet, Etc) Here's a website with great articles on the different lines and finding the right breeder. http://www.wildhauskennels.com/articles.htm And of course, there are always great GSDs in rescue and often puppies!!
- The BEST place to start is the national breed club. Read these first though http://www.gsdca.org/gsdca_joomla/index.php/the-german-shepherd-dog-standard/choosing-a-puppy/ethical-breeders http://www.gsdca.org/gsdca_joomla/index.php/the-german-shepherd-dog-standard/choosing-a-puppy/unethical-breeders http://www.gsdca.org/gsdca_joomla/index.php/the-german-shepherd-dog-standard/choosing-a-puppy/types-of-breeders Then you can find some breeder classifieds of reputable breeders here http://www.gsdca.org/gsdca_joomla/index.php/find-a-german-shepherd/breederclassified-ads regional clubs for more information http://www.gsdca.org/gsdca_joomla/index.php/join-the-gsdca/regional-clubs If you are really not set on a puppy, or even a really young puppy. You can find older puppies and adults in rescue http://www.agsra.com/
- well i don't how far you live from this place where i got my german shepherd but go to 2216 sylvania road on troy, PA 16947 it's a german shepherd breeding place and they are taken care of and healthy. you can get adults or pups.
- Do your research. How much are you willing to pay? pure bred german shepherds rarely cost any less then $300. I would suggest 1. doing LOTS of research on German Shepherds, they are not aways the easiest dogs to take care of, check where you are in you're life, is it financially feasible to have a puppy right now? Will the dog be left alone all day? Fed, groomed, exercised correctly? It isn't easy and I, as a vet tech, have seen too many dogs abandoned because someone thought they were "pretty" and could be a "cool" pet, but can't really deal with it. you need to make 100% sure you are absolutely ready. Are you? then I suggest Petfinder.com they have puppies and older dogs, all over the country, I have never been closer to a dog then I am the one I got through a rescue group. or of course you could always just try this http://lmgtfy.com/?q=German+Shepherd+Puppies+Western+PA
- Your answer to my question stood out and made me laugh. Your a BITCH. Honestly? your telling me to grow up? Your the one whos sitting on the computer telling me to stop dating older guys. Ha! He's 18 and you know what, dating older guys are better. Atleast I can get older guys. If a 15 year old can get a super hot 18 year old that everyone wants to date I must be pretty damn amazing. Get your facts straight. Don't confuse hate with jealousy, bitch.
