- Maltese should be with their mother and littermates until the age of 12 weeks because of potential health problems. Take them back to the scum bag breeder you got them from!!
- Well, they are young and very playful. I doubt it is aggression at that age. Unless one is gangster! lol If you notice the hair standing up on the back, then it is fighting!
- If their tails are wagging, they're playing. Otherwise, they're fighting. And fighting is ok if it's under control. It lets them work things out for themselves. I may get tons of thems downs for saying that, but truthfully, if there isn't any harm done you should let them work it out. Hope I helped.
- Food Situation: First, start with their food bowls in different rooms. Slowly every day move the bowls closer and closer. Eventually they will get used to eating next to each other and get along. Attention Situation: Maybe you would want to pet both of them at the same time, and hold them at the same time, and they will learn to get along with each other. * Eventually, they will learn to live with each other and get along.
- At 8 weeks old they are just playing. This is when they learn from their litter mates how much is too much. They are testing the boundaries with each other and also establishing who is going to be the alpha dog in the relationship. Don't worry about it and also don't discourage it too much at an early age. Establishing dominance is the natural order of things and dogs need to be comfortable in their role. If you have one male and one female chances are the female will come out on top. You may notice that if one squeals or the play got too rough, they will stop immediately. The other dog now knows they went too far. This is part of the learning process for them.
