How much food should i feed my two small dogs?

I feed them California Natural,and i just got them a 15 pound bag of food yesterday because when i get the 5 pound bag im out of the food in 3 or 5 weeks.I feed my two small dogs and handful or to in the morning and then at night.Is that ok?And how much Innova should a feed my 6 month old kitten? I give her a handful about every hour.

1. Follow the feeding guidelines that are on the bag, it will tell you how much to feed according to age and weight.
2. I don't know what innova is or anything about cats but for your dogs, you should feed them twice a day. We feed my chihuahua 3/4 twice a day and he is healthy and not overweight.
3. There is usually a chart on the side or back of the food bag recommending how much to feed by weight of the dog. Check the bag about feeding the kitten, sounds like too much to me.

For the dogs- feed them twice a day at the same time everyday, and look on the bag for their weights for how much to give them. if there is no weights or anything, call your vet. i have a dog about 17 pounds and we feed her half a cup twice a day. the kitten- call the vet. if its over six weeks, id recomend doing the same with it as the dogs. if you feed it like this when it gets older, it will get fat.
5. Use the feeding guidelines as a guide. Keep an eye on your dogs. Put your hands on their sides - if you can feel their ribs using only a little pressure, then they are at a perfectweight and keep feeding them as you are. If you can't easily feel their ribs, then they're overwieght and you need to cut down on their food and/or increase their level of exercise. If the ribs are sticking out, then they aren't getting enough food.
6. Definitely check out what your food recommends.. You'll find the chart somewhere on the bag, probably on the back or sides.. But keep in mind that if it says 1 cup (for example) for your dog's size that that does NOT mean 1 cup every feeding, that's how much your dog should have in one day.. It doesn't usually specify that and a lot of people end up over feeding their dogs. The same goes for the kitten. Also, be careful of letting your food go for too long, you should buy your food frequently to ensure freshness.. Unless you have some sort of plastic container with a sealed lid to keep air out.
7. sometimes it will be on the dog food you buy. but i have a small dog and i give him like 1 cup of food so just read the bag or give your dog 1 cup or the wet caned dog food.
8. You should only feed them when you feel hungry because that's when you know they're hungry too. There's no need to feed them every 2-3 hours because I'm pretty sure we don't want our dogs to get fat. Not unless that's what you want.
