What types of dogs are banned from US Installations?

If you live on a Military installation,what dogs are banned? Easy enough to understand?

1. you mean like in base housing? Are you asking what type of dogs they do not allow in base housing... like pitbulls, rottweiler, ect?
2. Pit bulls, dobermans, mastiffs, more breeds that are considered aggressive. But I don't know about other post's but that's fort polk. The only way you can have the dogs is if you had them before the 1st of july 2009. And you have the go Thur a 10 step good dog program and have insurance on them. I dunno about other post's like I said.
3. If you live in the barracks there is no place to maintain a dog, there are no barracks for the dogs to live along side of a soldiers barracks, sorry. And soldiers cannot be trusted ot clean the dog pen up for inspection purposes, so they cannot have a dog until they become a SGT and can move off post.
4. Some bases all animals are banned. Whereas what was said before aggressive breeds are not allowed in housing. San Diego housing also goes by the weight of the dog. It has to be under 30 pounds.
