Pit Bull puppies question. HELP plz!!?
my brothers friend is having puppies and and he is getting half of them because my brothers dog "helped" make them. lol. well after 10 weeks (when they are ready to leave there mother after birth) how big is the puppy? i might be getting one boy from my bro if my dad lets me its not my first dog i have one yorkshire which we are about to fix. oh yea and when i fix her, is she going to change at all? i heard they get depressed after they are fixed. i have had one pit bull but and a chihuahua i neglected them cuz i was a stupid little boy =[ and he ran away, i hope he found a good home. (plz dont think im a bad owner cuz of that. i was back then) i spend a lot of time with my bros pit bull so im not new to them but not my yorkie, i love her and shes always happy with me. well any tips on raising a big dog like that?

- Well i have a pit bull myself... and its great that you have him now that he is still a puppy so you can train him. Just make sure that you let him know not to bite because its cute and harmless now... but it won't be when he gets older. Also before you are going to give him his food tell him to "sit" once he sits you can give him his food. That way in the future he wont jump all over you so he could know that you are the one in control. Make sure he has a lot of chew toys so he wont mess up Ur belongings. They need lots of exercise if not they get bored if u don't play with them and that's how they start to be destructive. That all i can tell you from my experience.Have fun they are very loyal dogs.
- Fixing your dog wont make her depressed, she will be a lot calmer though. A pit bull isn't that large a dog ( they are pretty big its just that I own english mastiffs so no dogs look big to me anymore lol), but he/she will probably be about 10 to 20 pounds around 10 weeks it varies. The only advice that I can give you is socialize your dog as much as people, introduce your dog to strangers and after you vaccinate your dog bring him outside and familiarize him with people as much as possible. Many people think that pit's are vicious dogs, but I know some pit's that are so lovable and wouldn't hurt a thing. It all depends on how you raise the dog. I love and respect the dog I just wouldn't own one myself.
