  1. The only place you'll find them for that cheap is from a crappy backyard breeder who breeds terrible quality dogs. Chances are high that what you save in purchase price, you'll spend 20 times that in vet expenses because of inherited problems and problems from lack of care from the breeder. Right now in Sacramento, there are loads of boxer mix and boxer dogs up for rescue. They are all ages. Adoption fees are probably right around $200, so this may be a place to start. http://www.petfinder.com/ Also remember, that it's normal to spend $1000 on a pet annually and for emergencies to run $2000. If that's a problem, then you can't afford a dog right now. Save up until you can buy from a good breeder and until you can afford vet care. Good luck to you. http://www.geocities.com/bluegracepwd/wheretobuy.html http://dogplay.com/GettingDog/index.html
  2. Good luck with that. Even if you get one for free, count on over $1200 a year to maintain: http://www.bluecollardollar.com/funding_fido.html
  3. try petfinder.com and sacto. SPCA and Placer SPCA. Most dogs there are around $100 (I know because I live in sac and looked). If $200 isn't too bad there is a boxer rescue that adopts out for around $200. Also try AKC.org and go to the breeder referral. look for boxers on contract. Yeah they are around $300 but they are of quality. Some may even be cheaper. Plus they have a full money back guarantee most of the time. Otherwise you can only get one from a byb where you will end up paying more because of bad breeding (meaning higher vet bills) Dunno why it has to be under that amount. Even a small dog can take a ton out of your wallet due to vet bills.
