  1. Take her to the Vet right away that is NOT normal and it can be very dangerous.
  2. It takes 6 months for heartworms to show up in a heartworm test. Being under 5 months, you should be giving her monthly heartworm medication and a application of flea medication. These will keep her worm free and eliminate the need to de-worm her on a regular basis. What would you describe as a healthy appetite? She should be eating two meals a day that are in accordance to the instructions on her dog food. It is also really important, being a pitbull, that she has had at least three rounds of a distemper/parvo vaccine.
  3. Did YOU worm her with a store-bought wormer, or did you take her to the vet? It could be a dead worm coming out in her stool....but if you did not take her to the vet, she could still have other types of worm infestations. Over the counter wormers only kill 1 or 2 types of worms. A fecal exam by your vet will determine which kinds of worms she has. Medication from your vet will kill them all. Lack of appetite can be from worms or it can have other causes- another reason to visit the vet. There are better foods than Iams, you may want to visit this site: http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/ and research other dog foods. Try to find a food with a higher rating that fits your budget. Also, not to offend you but why does your website proclaim your dogs to be "the most aggressive pits known"?? For crying out loud, that sort of thing is the reason why Pit Bulls are becoming illegal in many areas. It's also why they're so misunderstood. The more the public percieves the breed to be "dangerous", the more likely you are to see laws banning you from owning your dogs. A well bred, properly raised Pit bull should not be aggressive or dangerous. Anything else is a serious liability. It seems you have a family- I'd hope you don't want your dogs to be dangerous. If your dogs are friendly, you'd be doing the breed a favor by trying to promote them in a positive way. I'm sorry, but I admire the Pit Bull breed and can't stand how they are portrayed in such a negative way, by the public. To see an actual Pit Bull owner suggesting his dogs are "aggressive" and that it's a GOOD thing, makes me very sad :(.
  4. First of all why would you buy an animal from people like that ? They are the reason these dogs get bad names. Did you notice the dogs breeding? And that the male is emaciated? If you spent $300+ for that dog then you should have enough money to take it to a Vet.
  5. That website disgusts me - the way those dogs are living and the condition they are in is inhumane. They are grossly underfed and living in filth. Whomever's website that is should be ashamed and embaressed.
  6. Wow, I looked at your site and I am horrified- absolutely sick, your dogs should be twice the size they are and they should be kept in MUCH better conditions. They are literally starving, worms is the least of your problems. They are kept in awful conditions and the fact that you are saying "the most agressive" btw its aggressive, dogs ever?? You are training your dogs to do the things responsible pit owners try to avoid!!!!!! You should be ashamed. the pup is a mutt.
  7. Jawon B,. You do not know the background of this puppy because of the fact that you purchased it off the streets from an unscrupulous stranger. This puppy could have any sort of infectious disease causing the lack of appetite. I notice from your website that you also have a couple of other dogs which look very emaciated which basically means starving . They are VERY skinny. If your feeding your dogs healthily then I think the problems lies in some sort of illness. If Ginger had any contact with these dogs it's very possible she could have caught the illness from them or vice versa. All of these dogs need to be seen by a veternarian AS SOON AS POSSIBLE for treatment. As for the Nuvet Plus Vitamin. Its basically just a vitamin & mineral supplement you would give your dog if they weren't already recieving enough nutrients from their existing diet. Since you are taking your dogs to the Vet tomorrow, that would be a great thing to disccuss with him/her They will already be planning on giving you advice on your dogs' diet .
