Anyone know where I can find English Bulldog puppies at a reasonable price?

  1. Why do you want an English Bulldog specifically? Do you have any idea how many dogs are euthanized every year at the pound? Stop worrying about what everyone else will think when they find out you don't have a "pure bred" dog and go to the pound to rescue some poor little guy who is a day away from getting "the needle".
  2. The pound -- or check Petfinders.
  3. English Bulldog Rescue groups then your state and check out what they have. http://www.rescuebulldogs.org or Bulldog Rescue of America is one such group to check to start with. Good luck.
  4. Unfortunately the birthing and inseminating process for english bulldogs is so complex that the cost of the puppies is one of the most expensive on the market. Try to rescue but if you have your heart set on a bullie then be prepared to pay about 2,000.00 for one. Any less and you could be dealing with a puppy mill. Paying a decent amount for a bulldog is a good sign that your bulldog was bread correctly, healthfully and comes from a decently responsible breeder. I can only say what I have learned the hard way. I bought a puppy form a pet store in New York city that was 1,500.00 and she came home with the deadly parvo virus. Since then I have tracked the seller Steven Roytman all around New York networks issuing complains with the better business bureau about him selling and buying sick dogs from puppy mills (I don't care if I can't say his name, he has stolen thousands and thousands of dolars from people who get their hopes and hearts up about getting a new bulldog). He is all over the internet with people who have bought puppies from him that have died. He puts on a good front so if you think you are dealing with one of his businesses (he keep changing the names) report him immediately. He willoffer to ship them and then never send the dog too I have heard. I can only assume not even 5% of the dogs he sells survive. I spent over 3,000.00 in intensive care at my local vet. hospital keeping the bully I bought form him alive. English Bulldogs are one of the most sought after dogs right now so people are scamming bullie lovers more than any other dog. Be careful and don't get caught buying a sick dog or getting scammed out of your money with no dog at all. If you want a English Bulldog anyways you have to get accustomed to never doing anything the inexpensive way, english bulldogs cost a lot of money to care for and keep healthy.
  5. My husband and I bought an English Bulldog recently... for $2000. They aren't very cheap dogs. If you want to buy a good dog, I would recommend going to: http://www.akc.org/classified/search/index.cfm This is where I found my breeder. Otherwise I would do what everyone else says- adopt a puppy in need.
  6. not online, if its under 1500 its a scam. a good english bulldog not a scam is 1500 to 2000. we found a breeder on the akc website its akc.org or if you want a cheaper dog thats still a pure bred they do have bulldog shelters. theya re harder to find but if you go to petfinder.com they will tell you if theres any in your area.
