just now outside my window i heard cats meowing loudly..it turns out they were mating LOL!?

why do cats sound like they are killing each other when they mate lmao it sounded so funny oh man im glad people aren't like that.!

1. If you do not sound like you are being killed when having sex the guy isn't doing it right
2. If you really want to know. Its because the male has barbs on his penis which hurts the female when he "does the nasty" with her. and the male can be rough with her. Basically thats why.

The reason is simple: the male cat has barbs on his penis and when he withdrawls the penis, it really, really hurts the female, and if you have ever seen cats in the act, the female will usually quickly turn around and try to swat at the male. ( Male lions so the same thing as do all cat in the feline family.) There is a very good reason for the barbs on the penis., the stimulation that they elicit, causes the female to ovulate, and scientists have found that this same reaction can be duplicated using any instrument that invades the female vaginal or cervical area. ( vets have taught owners how to use a long thin small glass tube to stimulate this response on their queens and to bring them out of the Estrus Cycle. ( The female will think she has been bred, and perhaps go through a false pregnancy, but will lose her interest in mating, and her howling will cease.) The other reason for howling by the female of course, is that the male has to get a good grasp on the nape of the neck of the female before attempting to breed with her, and when biting the nape of the neck, I am sure there is some pain involved.
