- I don't help irresponsible backyard breeders. Go ask your breed mentor, you do have one, correct?
- These are problems that you should have prepared for when you bred the dog. If the bitch isn't feeding the litter, you'll have to go buy a puppy milk replacer and either tube feed or bottle feed the babies until they are old enough to be weaned. I should emphasize that poor mothering skills are inherited and a dog with that sort of history really has no business whelping a litter, and neither do you.
- I'm not telepahic and can't tell if the mom has enough milk or if the pups are sickly or anything else a vet can tell you by looking at the pups.
- Go to the vets or the pet store and by some puppy formula & puppy baby bottles for the puppies and feed them that way. Some mom dog just don't have enough milk for all the litter but your best bet is to call the vet and get mom and the remaining puppies checked out. Good luck
- GET THEM TO A VET, DID YOU BREED HER ON HER FIRST HEAT CYCLE SHE WASN'T READY. WHY ARE YOU BREEDING HER AT ALL. PIT BULLS ARE ONLY BRED TO MAKE FAST MONEY AND FIGHTING. GET CAN MILK AND BOTTLE FED THOSE PUPS EVERY TWO HOURS.
- give the mum a raw egg mixed with about 2 cups of milk once a day...for around a week or so...if no increase of mums milk..bring her 2 a vet determine the cause if you dont bring her 2 a vet DONT BREED HER AGAIN as this could be a genetic issue. Till the week is up you should buy a vet mild replacer and hand feed the puppys but leave them with mum. also what brand dog chow are you feeding. if it is wal mart brand or something...try switching to a better brand or even better Beneful puppy chow (extra neutriance in the puppy food)
- call ur vet and ask them, they should beable to help u.
- This is pathetic. And also why I'm doing my research early with breeding. It's morons like you that give me a reason to not want to breed.
- get a little baby bottle and some milk and baby formula and feed them u are going to have to open their mouth for them and maybe press down to make the bottle squeeze until they are a little bigger then they can do it with out you squeezing it for them. do it about every hr or 2hr.
- Sure one option is some sort outbreak among puppies.... but I am afraid that it sounds: Bad breeding, puppy mills... avoiding genetic testing, bad health during pregnancy, and during delivery... any of these or all of these.... DIdnt you consult vet immediately when first puppy got ill or at least died? -- Sure Vet would have done autopsy.... I am sorry, but it s not normal that all / half the litter dies like you described...
