  1. This won't help much but here have been my only experiences so far with my minis: -Getting their feet trimmed- $20/each -Getting wormer- About $10 for a tube (or $26 for the same stuff at the vet) -Getting the fecal sample done and finding coccicidia and getting the medicine to treat that for one of my minis: About $170
  2. A vet only needs to come out 2 x's a year if the horse is healthy. It's when your horse is hurt or sick that you run into high vet bills. You are looking at averaging $200 for each visit in my eperience. You can worm yourself. Also , you have the farrier that needs to come out at least every 6 weeks. $25-35 each time for one horse and more if the horse wears shoes.
  3. I was on a plan once with the local vet. For 300. my horse received 1 year of vet needs. This included all shots, a coggins, wellness checks and wormings. Teeth floating was extra and averages 75-100 dollars. Don't forget to factor in the cost of your blacksmith.
