I got him at 6 months from a shelter, he was there with his dad see picture (they are the same, hence pure breeds) http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/8828/1006075.jpg The shelter believes them to be Catalan Sheepdogs, but this is a VERY rare breed in Australia, so I find it so hard to imagine how they ended up in a shelter. He is about 63cm tall which is about 10cm larger than a Catalan is supposed to be - when I got him his fur had been clipped because it was all matted and full of prickles, so his fur is not as long as it should be. He doesn't really shed, when I brush him I get hair in the brush but he doesn't really drop hair. His feet are small, and he has dew claws, his eyes have dark rim around them, quite a long body. His legs are quite long and when he walks he does prance a little (sometimes) He is FAST. and I mean seriously fast, the little beagle he runs with can barely catch him, he is much much faster than the other dogs he runs with and a greyhound owner thought he had the body of a greyhound - but again, he's a purebred and not a greyhound. He's not a soft coated wheaten terrier, because he's not wheaten. He's got stripes of cream and grey with some reddish tones, and at the top of his back he has some black fur which is quite coarse, the rest of his fur is soft and fluffy. Temperment: active outside, runs and runs, but as soon as he's in the house he sleeps all day! Quite stubborn. Not much of a barker, talks/whinges Here a pic of him at 4-6 months: http://img7.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ajaxs.jpg And one of him at around 9 months: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/6581/p1010122m.jpg Please help - serious guesses!! His face is stronger than a Pyrenean Shepherd He was there with his IDENTICAL father, so he MUST be a purebred? Head is too strong to be wolfhound or teacup wolfhound He's too tall to be a Pyr. Sh.
