If all of the types of dogs got together and fought to the death, which type do you think would win?
If every different type/breed of dog got together and fought to the death, which do you think would win? I'm thinking a pit bull. Which type of dog do you think is the toughest? I'm guessing pit bull. I've wondered this for a while. This has nothing to do with the sport of dog fighting. I'm just curious, I asked the same question about a dog and a monkey.

- Probably wolf/siberian husky/malamute
- You need more outside time in the sunlight.
- You got that one wrong, dear ----- Pit Bulls are TRAINED to be vicious, they are NOT BORN that way !!!! Actually, ANY dog can be trained to be nasty!
- Terriers are dogs breed for hunting so any Terrier this is why Yorkies Jack Russels all those little dogs are so agressive a Pitbulls real name is a Staffordshire Terrier on top of those Irish wolf hound, not the most agressive but it was breed to hunt wolf Standard Poodles, you wouldn't guess it but they are excellent guard dogs, very agressive if you come close to what they are supposed to be protecting Doberman German Shepard Rottwiellers not so much, for the most part they are big babies, it just depends on how they were raised all 3 are breed as guard dogs so for them to attack isn't uncommon Lastly is the dog i want to get The Rhodesian Ridgeback it was breed in Africa to help hunt lions, its fast, vicious its also the females of the species who are more vicious males with testicles or neutered females but males who are not neutered can prove very difficult to train and will get into alot of fights with other dogs over dominance ***but again it all depends on the training of the dog*** that last bit of info must be starred because out of the breeds i just mentioned it wont matter how naturally aggressive they are if they are trained to be the opposite, you can take a golden retriever and make it aggressive by the training it receives oh and if i find your fighting dogs i will not be happy im telling you this all on the knowledge you want an aggressive guard dog
- The french mastiff, it is one of the largest, smartest, and strongest dogs alive. DEATH TO THE RAT DOGS!!!!!!!!!
- bull mastiff definately! or a dingo (wild dog)
- Hopefully you'd be the first to lose.
- i would say a wolf dog because of power and instinct but in reality they are not really aggressive by nature, so I'm thinking more along the lines of a doberman or maybe a malamute or a rottie or a terrier.
- Wow, this is a horrible question, you realize that dog fighting is illegal and the pit bull has been unjustly labeled because of dog fights? -.- This is the kind of thinking that spawns the fear of pit bulls... the toughest dog... I know a pit bull named Max who was anything BUT tough. He was like a 80lb teddy bear. You said a harsh word to him and he'd give you a look that just screamed heartbreak. No breed is tougher then another, its the dogs themselves. No matter the breed, all dogs have different personalities. The only way a dog would be "tough" like you define it would be a dog raised to fight. And that is just sad.
- First of all if u think Pit DONT FIGHT HIM!!!! And no the Bull Mastiff would most likely win. They are a large stalky dog and have 500lbs of bite presure. They weigh aprox, 200-275lbs. 500lbs of bite presure might seem unreal and thats how people get hurt and sometimes killed. Its nature. It might shock you. Pits have about 300lbs of bite presure. And they weigh aprox, 60-80lbs. Sometimes they hit the 100s but thats if you make them work out to fight. Hope this helped:)
- I think it's a fascinating question. Assuming the dog wouldn't have the benefit of a "pack," like in some ancient guard or palace dogs, I'd say a sharpei would be victorious. That loose skin would suffer much of the attacks but the jaws would hang on for days!! Tough little buggers.
- The last 2 standing would be the Border Collie and Standard Poodle. Not because they're the "toughest" ... rather, because they're the smartest. Brains beats brawn, everytime.
- I imagine you're going to get a good amount of answers calling you sick or cruel. A mastiff would win. A dog's bite force is determined by how broad his or her jaw is. A pit has an endless supply of stamina, but the fact is that their bite simply isn't all that powerful. Mastiffs have stamina, drive and power. The Kangal Dog's bite force is recorded at 743 pounds; the English Mastiff's at 649-687. That'd easily trump a pit at 235 pounds. Mastiffs are designed to be guardians, so they have intense territorial instincts and determination. I mean, in Namibia, Kangals are bred to defend livestock against cheetahs.. and they're doing so successfully. And the English Mastiff, while now mellowed, was like *the* warrior dog. If given reason, they're still a hell of a force to be reckoned with. EDIT: Thought I should clarify. I'm not thinking of the breeds as being trained to fight. I understood your question to mean, like, if these dogs were overtaken by raw instinct and were just *fighting.*
- This is not an appropriate question and I think it's sick that you would even wonder and feel so compelled to ask the question on here. Reported. Kayla - Pit Bulls are NOT American Stafforshire Terriers. They are completely different. The Am Staff is a completely separate breed from the American Pit Bull Terrier. You are misinformed and are perpetuating these too common misconceptions. Most people use the term pit bull to describe any "bully" looking breed.
- My god did you develope this or were you born with it!? my god thats a horrible question! Good job on being the next michael vick you sicko!
- Pit Bulls. My son is a big Pit Bull fan and has told me that they really aren't more likely to attack than any other dog, but it's just that when they do they don't stop until it's over. So if my son is right, then the Pit Bull will be the last dog standing.
