what rainforest animals can live together?

i wanted to start a new animal tank with a rainforest or amazon theme. its kinda a new idea. i wanted to set the whole thing up with a tropical theme and add different types of animals. example certain types of frogs, lizards, snakes, even fish, etc. all things that live in taht climate. the thing is they need to be compatible. what would live in peace together if i wanted to do this?

  1. That actually sounds awesome. The problem is that you may have to stay away from many AMAZON species as it a truly survival of fittest place considering it has the most biodiversity of any place in the world on land. In other words, a SNAKE could never live with a FROG or LIZARD as it will eat it. Unless of course you get a POISON DART FROG, which the snake should leave alone as it is the most poisonous (not venomous) animal in the world. With that said, you have to feed the frog the proper diet because they only are poisonous due to what they eat as many in captivity are given a different diet and are no longer poisonous. I wonder if a snake could tell the difference. The point is that you can see it is very tricky because all the idiosyncrasies that take place outside their natural environment. Honestly, I would contact a wildlife foundation that specializes in rain forests because I think it would take tremendous expert knowledge as all rain forests are very Darwinistic in terms species eating each other. With that said, monkeys would be great but the problem is that they live a very long time and have emotional needs. It literally become a life's work if you're willing to do that, but you'll have to check with your state to see what primates can be imported if any. I really do like the idea. If I had the money one day, I'd like a Fer-De-Lance and Bushmaster (2 venomous snakes in all the Americas). Throw Jaguar in there with some Monkeys and Amazonian Pigs.
