What kind of paint do I use to paint pictures onto my wall (dogs, cats, smurfs, etc.)? Can I use acrylics?

I have been searching the internet for 3 hours now and i can't find anything. PLEASE help me find my answers. PLEASE!

1. I'd even say preferably acrylics.
2. If your wall is (for some reason) painted with oil paint, then you have to use oils. Otherwise, you are free to use as you choose. Acrylics are easy to clean up and dry quickly.
3. i have painted some pictures on my wall and i used acrylics but you could also use normal wall paint.
4. In general, you can get excellent results using ordinairy acrylic enamel wall paints. The kind you can get at your local home improvement or hardware store. These cans are sold in quantities as small as one quart and sometimes even less. All you really need is a can of red, blue, yellow, white and black. From these, you can blend pretty much all the colors you'd need.
