Can Alaskan Samoyed dogs live in california?

their from alaska and i was wondering if they would die from the heat? because in most youtube videos their in the snow. soyeah..

1. They probably won't die but they will be soooo hot all the time. If you keep them shaved in the summer months as well as keeping them indoors in the air conditioning i suppose that would be fine.
2. Samoyeds are actually from the Siberian arctic...not Alaska. That said, they can adapt to warmer climates. If you are seriously consider a Sam, please do some research on the breed first to determine whether or not it is right for you. 3. Yeah!!! But it will take them awile 2 get used 2 the weather.
4. Sammy's can live in warmer climates, they just shouldn't be outside only dogs and stuck out in the heat. With access to AC and lots of water a Samoyed can do just fine enjoying the day with it's owner in a southern state. And please do not shave the dog in the summer, just don't leave it outside all the time. The coat helps insulate against heat and cold.
