Would anyone have any idea how much insurance would cost for taking Miniature horses to party's for rides?
I want to rent miniature horses out to kids party's to ride. Small kids only. Does anyone have a ball park figure for how much it would cost for insurance? Thank you so much!

- Your best bet is to call an equine insurance agency. It's going to depend on a lot of details that only you can provide to your insurance agent....your area, your state laws.... As a trainer, I carry insurance and it costs about $500 a year.
- We pay $200/month to insure our clydesdales and carriages.
- you'll need public liability insurance, and this can cost anything from 100-1000 a month depending on the horses and thier uses etc. each policy is different, and they take alot of things into consideration before they give you a quote, such as whether you are providing tack and handlers, the horses ages etc and whether you are providing suitable safety gear - our policy only covers us if riders are wearing a hard hat - so bear that in nmind. also, they might ask you if you have done a child protection course - if you haven't then you should. also doing a certified first aid course will also help lower your premiums.
